We all carry different labels, different roles we play in the story of life. Some of us are parents. Others of us are leaders. Some of us are married, Some of us are in ministry. Some of us are in business. Some are in industry. And many of us carry three or four of these roles all the time.
Over the next few weeks I will be inviting guests to post here on soulstuck.com. There is more for us to learn in community often times than what we can learn from just one individual. My goal with soulstuck is first to bring awareness to the fact that most of us become stuck in our spirit at some times. But another major reason why I write this blog is to open your eyes to the fact that it takes a village to really pull people out of the spiritual mud they’re in. You and I need community. It is absolutely essential.
Eugene Peterson writes, “I am not myself by myself.” We need the input and relationship with other people to grow and to move out of our comfort zones. Otherwise, we become individualistic and tunnel-visioned.
I hope you enjoy these posts. Perhaps there is something we can discover together as we get insight from our friends in the coming days. As more guest posts show up here on the site, I will post them here so you can link quickly to each one.
